Priority event

In August 1983, funded by the Hong Kong Wo Cheong Company, advanced foreign equipment was introduced in the form of compensatory trade in soybean meal in preparation for the construction of the Jiu San Oleochemical Plant.

On July 2, 1985, the factory broke ground.

On July 11, 1987, the plant officially started production.
